BUY TIX TO THE COOK-OFF
Welcome to the 12th Annual Temple Shir Shalom Chicken Soup Cook-Off!
Come sample the talents of amateur, novice and professional chefs, as they present their special chicken soup recipes.
In addition to tasting a variety of soups, guests will have the opportunity to win tin can auction prizes, bid on silent auction items, enjoy snacks, listen to music and learn about our sponsors and the organizations we are supporting. The afternoon will conclude with an award ceremony for the ‘best’ soups (in several categories), as well as the Best Decorated Table.
See you there!

The Chicken Soup Cook-Off Proudly Supports:
💚 Detroit Dog Rescue
Detroit's first no-kill shelter is raising awareness of the mounting homeless and stray dog epidemic in Detroit. They help feed, save and rehome abandoned, abused and orphaned dogs.
💚 Metro Food Rescue
Metro Food Rescue collects food that would otherwise be discarded and delivers it to a network of food pantries, thereby helping to feed individuals and families facing food insecurity. Each Chicken Soup Cook-Off participant will be donating soup to Metro Food Rescue.
💚 Scholarships for Shir Shalom's Religious School
Scholarships provide financial aid, so all Shir Shalom students from preschool through high school can enroll in our our Hebrew and Judaic education program, SHORESH.
💚 Young Adult Group of Shir Shalom
Young Adult Programming offers a vibrant, inclusive space for individuals in their 20s and 30s to connect, grow, and explore their spiritual journey together.
