SUMMER DAY CAMP FOR CAMPERS 2.5 TO 5 YEARS OLD!
Children are playful by nature. They create make-believe, get messy, laugh and make friends. It's all about play and fun throughout our campers' day. At Camp Teva we know that young children learn best when they are actively involved. Whether playing sports, gardening or running on the playground, our campers are learning through everything we do. Our focus on outdoor play is a natural fit for every child. Being outside allows kids to engage all their senses. Our team of teachers celebrates the growth of each camper.

A Typical Day
9:00 AM - Arrival
9:00 - 9:20 AM - Table Time Activities: Play-dough, beading, loose-parts play, Lego-building and more!
9:20 - 9:40 AM - Outside Movement: Obstacle courses, drum circle, animal actions, relay races, natures walks, group games, parachute activities and more!
9:40 - 11:00 AM - Outside Activities: Sprinklers, water tables, sandbox play, arts and crafts, gardening, group games, nature explorations, story time and more!
11:00 - 11:15 AM - Snack Time
11:15 AM - 12:00 PM - More Outside Activities
12:15 - 12:30 PM - Story time and get ready for pickup for half-day campers
12:30 - 1:00 PM - Lunch Time
1:00 - 1:30 PM - Quiet Time: With the lights dimmed, each camper sits on their special towel and chooses toys to play with independently.
1:30 PM - Pick Up: For Lunch-Bunch campers
1:30 - 2:00 PM - Choice Time: Camper makes a plan with the teacher as to what they want to participate in while they explore with friends and materials in the room.
2:00 - 2:45 PM - Outside Activities: Play structures, sandbox, gardening, group games, nature explorations, story time and more!
2:45 - 3:00 PM - Popsicles and pack up to go home
3:00 PM - Pick Up: For Full-Day campers

Enrollment
If your child(ren) has been enrolled in The Learning Center Preschool and/or Camp Teva, you're invited to complete an application online by following these steps:
1. Visit www.shirshalom.org
2. Log into your account
3. Hover over My Account - in the header navigation
4. Select Start School Enrollment
5. Select 2023 Camp Teva under "Which term are you enrolling to?"
If your child(ren) has not been enrolled in The Learning Center Preschool or Camp Teva, please complete the interest form.
