First-time parents of newborns to 9-month-old babies are invited to this FREE opportunity to meet fellow first-time parents and learn from specialists while enjoying light bites and beverages in a casual, comfortable environment. Group meets weekly 6-8pm at Temple Shir Shalom. One parent must identify as Jewish.

"Every session felt like a hug! The program’s support made me a better parent -  calmer, happier and connected with other Jewish mommies and daddies. We celebrated our triumphs together - of first feedings of solid foods, of first real nights of sleep, and of a baby who was big enough to reach for a toy. We shared tips for what worked with each other while our babies enjoyed rolling onto each other’s blankets, making us all giggle in delight along with them. Every time I had a worry, the program offered a special speaker to address the topic. And when we asked to add an extra class about cpr and choking - and you did - even the bubbies and zeidies wanted to sign up! What a beautiful way to start our Jewish lives together with our sweet children. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Temple Shir Shalom. Our friendships from the group will live on long after it’s over. We’ve already planned nature walks together, zoo trips and of course Bim Bom Baby. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this time, traditionally a challenge, into a joy."
