9:30 AM - 11:30 AMTemple Shir Shalom & OffsiteWe look forward to gathering as a SHORESH and Temple community for our annual Tikkun Olam-a-thon! This special day of service honors the legacy of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. with opportunities for all SHORESH and Temple families to volunteer together and perform acts of loving kindness while celebrating unity, diversity and the worth of every person. While is Tikkun Olam-a-thon is our SHORESH program for the day, we welcome our Temple community to participate as well. The day begins with an all-community Opening Ceremony and Tefillah before breaking out into our project groups. There will be projects both at Temple and off-site. Most projects wrap up around 11:30am. 7th & 8th Grade Madrichim will participate in an offsite activity together. Our SSTY Youth Group made up of high school students will also participate in an offsite activity.
