May 2023 TSS Adult Trip - Charleston

We are thrilled you're interested in going to Charleston this spring. Below you'll find details we've coordinated as of now, with pricing and timing of our trip. In reading this over, if you'd like to join us, please register below with a $250 deposit per person by February 15th. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis as there are a limited amount of spots. Once we reach capacity we will close registration. So register early!

We would like to give ourselves 2 full days of touring (Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17). In order for this to work best, our hope is that everyone can arrive on Monday, May 15 (there's a direct Delta flight landing late in the afternoon). We have reserved rooms at The Francis Marion for three nights. Our touring together will end late Wednesday, with most we imagine heading home some time on Thursday.

Our pricing is based on double occupancy in the hotel. The cost of our trip will be $890 per individual. If you plan on traveling by yourself, there will be a single supplement of $400.

The cost of the trip includes the following:

  • 3 nights double-occupancy in The Francis Marion

  • Dinner Tuesday night

  • Lunch Wednesday

  • Entrance fees to attractions and local transportation

  • Tour guide fees

  • Tips for local staff

  • And some special treats along the way

We have purposely not planned all of our meals together, knowing there are so many great food options in Charleston and we all have different interests.

Also, flights and transportation between the airport and hotel are not included in the cost of the trip.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to either of us. As we get closer to our travels, we will have some meetings together - some practical and some historical to help us all prepare for our time in Charleston.

Looking forward to what we will get to experience this spring together.
