Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join the Shir Shalom Temple Youth and Fruman Sunday Night School students on a weekend adventure to New York where we will see the sites through a Jewish lens while experiencing a special Shabbat, a Broadway musical and so many other wonderful activities. Explore Israel on a peer travel trip led by Rabbi Daniel in partnership with Metro Detroit Congregations, Tamarack Camps and the Jewish Federation of Detroit. Open to students currently in High School, this month long trip provides an opportunity to experience Israel as a means to strengthen Jewish identity and pride as a Jewish Detroiter. Gather around the campfire for a wonderful Shabbat and weekend in beautiful Southeast Michigan. Hike, swim, kayak and enjoy the campgrounds while getting to know other members of Temple and enjoying the sounds of nature. Tent and RV camping will be available.
